Whereas the Commercial Grade sails are either 280gsm or 330gsm the DIY Sail Shades use 220gsm fabric, black webbing and are only available in five sizes.
Production line volume manufacturing and a slightly lighter fabric weight mean that our DIY Sail Shades are inexpensive and ideally suited for any domestic use.
The DIY sail shades are easy to install and do not require professional installation.
Pre made DIY Shades are suitable for situations where temporary and semi permanent shade is required. Constructed from 220gsm fabric with black webbing, they feature a 5 year warranty against UV breakdown of the fabric, and are available in a range of 5 sizes, each in 4 contemporary colours, Architecture Grey, Coastal Sand, Porcelain and Woodland Green.
These sail shades are ideal for those areas where they can be made to fit, rather than purpose made to accommodate an irregular area, or more permanent requirement.
Instead of the usual turned and sewn border we use full edge Black webbing similar to our Commercial Grade 280gsm and 330gsm products.
We also provide all the necessary marine grade 316 Stainless Steel accessories for mounting your New 2008 DIY Sail Shades.
