WREN - Waste Recycling Environmental

The new WREN Small Grants Scheme (SGS) is one of a range of funding streams operated by WREN under the Landfill Communities Fund. To be eligible to apply for funding under the SGS:

  • you are applying for between 2,000 and 15,000 GPB
  • your total project cost is less than 50,000 GBP
  • your project based at one of the following:

Village Hall, Country Park, Recreation Ground, Community Centre, Public Footpath/Towpath, Nature Reserve, Public Park, Skate Park, Bridleway, Sports Club, MUGA, Playground or Museum.

  • your project is within 10 miles of a Waste Recyclling Group Landfill site
  • you are a not for profit organisation with a bank account and constitution

Child's Play Programme

The Child's play programme is an initiative in Wales that funds the development of the infrastructure for children's play and strategically important Play projects across Wales. Child's Play aims to develop new play spaces for children in the communities and offers grants from 250,000 GBP to 1 million GBP by March 2009.
