When obtaining a quotation for a sandpit cover, you can use the system for 3, 4, 5 or 6 sides. By providing the outer dimensions with the point to point diagonals the angles of the corners and the shape you want will always be achieved. The dimensions are to the edge and do not include the "drop portion" with the grommets. Shown here is an example. Your sandpit cover shape is shown in blue with the corner points indicated. The top left sided image is not designed to represent a shape but purely to indicate the measurement reference points.
